2014. Redmine 2.5 impoves custom fields
Redmine is a flexible project management web application written using Ruby on Rails framework. The new version - Redmine 2.5.0 is available for download. It brings many improvements to custom fields formats: text formatting support, HTTP link support, fine-grained selection for user and version custom fields based on roles and version status. The custom field format API was fully rewritten, so if you're running some plugins that deal with it (eg. that adds non standard field formats), you'll have to update them before upgrading. This version also introduces experimental support for Markdown formatting, a popular text formatting syntax.
