Greenhouse vs iCIMS in our news:
2020. iCIMS acquires video recruiting startup Altru for $60M
Enterprise recruiting company iCIMS is announcing that it has acquired Altru. iCIMS offers a “talent cloud” used by more than 4,000 employers to attract, engage and hire new employees, and to help existing employees continue to develop their careers. Altru can be most helpful earlier in the recruiting process, when companies are trying to stay connected with the most promising candidates and get them excited about a potential job.
2019. iCIMS acquires Jibe to expand recruitment marketing capabilities
iCIMS acquired recruiting technology platform Jibe with an eye toward strengthening its offerings in employer branding, candidate engagement and tracking the return on recruiting investments. Jibe will power iCIMS’ new recruitment marketing solution, Attract, which is available as either part of its core platform or as the front end of other, integrated ATS or HCM solutions. Taken together, iCIMS’ and Jibe’s products should help employers improve their recruiting by attracting the right candidates at the top of the funnel, she believes.
2015. Recruiting app Greenhouse scores $13.6M
Recruiting service Greenhouse has raised a $13.6 million Series B. Greenhouse grows companies’ recruiting efforts in three ways. It aggregates a company’s job candidate sources like referrals, events, job boards, external agencies and social media into one hiring dashboard. From there, companies can A/B test their job listings and have their existing employees sent openings. For interviews, Greenhouse helps businesses structure their questions and how they’re asked so every candidate gets a fair playing field, and scoring answers is easy with its decision-making tools. Greenhouse makes it quick to compare candidates against each other and the desired role, as well as assess how the company is doing versus industry-hiring benchmarks. Greenhouse has 450 customers, including Evernote, Zenefits and Venmo.
2014. Jibe wants to fix the mobile hiring process
Jibe, the company that builds SaaS recruiting solutions has just recieved new $20 Million financing from SAP Ventures. What is the secret sauce of this company? It makes the recruiting process mobile. The point is that attracting the right employees to your company is even more important than attracting customers. But while CRM solutions provide mobile channels for customer relationship management, recruiting apps - don't. Jibe delivers a mobile recruiting solution that makes it easy for candidates to both browse job openings and complete an application on the go. It features the ability to pre-populate application information and allows candidates to choose from multiple mobile-friendly resume-upload options, including a unique option to submit a resume from their email. The result is a higher conversion rate for mobile applications and a dramatically improved experience for your applicants.
