2021. Sales scheduling platform Chili Piper raises $33M



Chili Piper, which has a sophisticated SaaS appointment scheduling platform for sales teams, has raised a $33 million B round. Chili Piper’s software for B2B revenue teams is designed to convert leads into attended meetings. Sales teams can also use it to book demos, increase inbound conversion rates, eliminate manual lead routing and streamline critical processes around meetings. It’s used by Intuit, Twilio, Forrester, Spotify and Gong. Chili Piper has a number of different tools for businesses to schedule and calendar accountments, but its key USP is in its use by “inbound SDR Sales Development Representatives (SDR)”, who are responsible for qualifying inbound sales leads. It’s particularly useful in scheduling calls when customers hit websites and ask for a salesperson to call them back.


2021. Calixa raises $4.25M seed to manage ‘bottom up’ sales approach



Calixa, an early-stage startup, believes that this type of sale, known as a bottom-up sales motion, requires a new kind of tool to manage the process, has raised a $4.25 million seed round. To use the product, you simply sign up and then link the various accounts the product needs to compile the data it needs. It uses various API connectors to make this happen and all it requires is that you enter your username and password to access the accounts and begins pulling together the data.


2020. Vivun announces $18M for its AI pre-sales platform



Vivun, the company building AI-based pre-sales platform, announced an $18 million Series A. Vivun has caught the attention of investors because this is a unique product category and there has been a lot of demand for it. It turns out that businesses of all sizes, startups and enterprises, are really craving a solution like Vivun, which is dedicated to pre-sales. Vivun's business has grown this year. Large businesses like Okta, Autodesk and Dell Secureworks have filled in nicely, and the product actually fits well in larger enterprise organizations.
