The integration will allow merchants to sign up in just a few clicks to have their products appear across Google’s 1 billion “shopping journeys” that take place every day through Search, Maps, Images, Lens and YouTube. The news follows a series of updates to Google Shopping resulting from Amazon’s increased investment in its own advertising business, which threatens Google’s core ads business.

Shopify has partnered with Facebook to expand its payment option, Shop Pay, to all Shopify merchants selling across both Facebook and Instagram. This is the first time Shop Pay will be made available outside of Shopify’s own platform, and represents a significant expansion for the e-commerce platform’s payments technology. Shop Pay will first become available to all Shopify merchants using checkout on Instagram in the U.S., and will then be rolled out to Facebook in the weeks that follow. Prior to this launch, Facebook’s platform has been one of Shopify’s most popular sales and marketing channels for merchants

New page elements, like content containers, icons, and dividers give you more creative tools for experimenting with page design. And the new Element editor expands the customizations available in the product. You can now add videos and parallax images to the background of your web pages. Besides, you can make your website private, restrict its visibility even within your organization, and publish websites solely for intranet usage.

2017. Shopify adds new shareable discount links
To help you make the most of the holiday shopping bonanza, Shopify added a simple new function that will help you reach out and pull those deal-hunters right into your store.
