Twiddla
Twiddla is a no-setup, web-based meeting playground. Mark up websites, graphics, and photos, or start brainstorming on a blank canvas. Browse the web with your friends or make that conference call more productive than ever. No plug-ins, downloads, or firewall voodoo - it's all here, ready to go when you are. Browser-agnostic, user-friendly.
Scribblar and Twiddla are both online collaborative whiteboard tools that allow users to collaborate, draw, and share ideas in real-time. However, they have distinct differences in terms of features and target audience.

Scribblar is designed primarily for educational purposes and offers a range of features tailored for online tutoring, virtual classrooms, and collaborative learning. It provides tools for real-time collaboration, document sharing, audio and video chat, and interactive whiteboard features. Scribblar's focus on education makes it suitable for teachers and students who need a dedicated platform for online collaboration and learning.

Twiddla, on the other hand, is a versatile online whiteboard tool that caters to a broader audience, including businesses, teams, and creative professionals. It offers features such as real-time collaboration, drawing tools, text editing, and document sharing. Twiddla emphasizes its flexibility and ease of use, making it suitable for a variety of purposes, such as brainstorming, project management, and visual collaboration.

2008. Twiddla takes home SXSW award despite sluggish performance

Collaborative whiteboarding applications can be invaluable for geographically dispersed small groups engaged in brainstorming sessions. Allow me to introduce Twiddla, a free tool that facilitates marking up media, live websites, and organizing ideas on a virtual whiteboard. It also offers live communication capabilities through text chat and free VoIP conference calling, eliminating the need for additional plug-ins or software. This application recently received a technical achievement award at the SXSW Interactive Web Awards. Although it boasts impressive technology, my testing revealed occasional speed and local resource challenges. While its interface is user-friendly and menus are quick to respond, I encountered instances where the application was almost unusable. Nevertheless, there were also occasions where it performed exceptionally well.
