2018. Zoho Mail gets major UI update

Shortly after a significant interface update to GMail, Zoho has launched the new Zoho Mail 2018 featuring a refreshing design. In this update, the developers have focused on enhancing the visibility of icons in the App bar and Quick Actions buttons by giving them a redesigned and vibrant appearance. For users who prefer the Compact view for its ability to display more emails at once, Zoho has gone a step further and introduced the Super Compact view. The introduction of the Advanced Search feature empowers users to locate elusive content within their inbox, even when they only remember minute details. Furthermore, the top bar has been replaced with tabs and a search bar, resulting in the relocation of other icons to the right side of the mailbox, thereby improving their visibility.

2018. Zoho Mail gets desktop client

Zoho has introduced the Desktop Lite client for Zoho Mail, providing users with a familiar interface that closely resembles the webmail version. Unlike a redesigned desktop interface, this client serves as an exact replica of the webmail interface, ensuring users feel comfortable and at ease. However, the desktop lite client offers the technical advantage of being locally hosted, resulting in improved speed compared to webmail. Users can expect reduced loading times, enhancing their overall experience. Additionally, the client offers dedicated badge notifications and desktop notifications, enabling users to stay constantly updated on their emails.

2018. Zoho Mail gets Sticky notes, Email snippets

In Zoho Mail, email snippets have been enhanced to emphasize e-commerce-related emails that adhere to the appropriate schema format. When you receive an email that contains the embedded schema, the displayed email will feature dedicated icons within the mail listing, along with key details from the email succinctly highlighted. Moreover, the developers have introduced sticky notes functionality, enabling users to conveniently attach notes directly to their mailbox. Additionally, user profile enhancements for administrators have been implemented. Notably, a noteworthy addition for Zoho CRM users is the ability to select a default calendar for saving event invites within Zoho Mail.

2017. Zoho Mail integrates with Zoho Docs to send big files

When it comes to sending files quickly via email, attaching them can be both convenient and frustrating. Recognizing this challenge, Zoho Docs and Zoho Mail have collaborated to introduce a streamlined interface that simplifies the process of attaching large files. By storing your files in Zoho Docs, you can effortlessly include videos, images, audio files, and various other file types in your Zoho Mail messages. Moreover, the new integration allows you to attach files that are up to 2400% larger than the previous size limit. To achieve this, you can easily convert the files into links directly within the mail interface. This innovative solution enhances the overall user experience by providing a seamless and efficient way to share files of any size through Zoho Mail.

2015. Zoho Mail gets new UI and collaboration features

Zoho has introduced the latest version of its email service, Zoho Mail, incorporating a range of distinctive collaboration features. Notably, the addition of Streams allows for conversations centered around individual email messages, utilizing social constructs such as tagging individuals. This eliminates the need to forward, manage, and sift through lengthy email threads. The new Attachment Viewer enhances user experience by displaying attachments using visual images and neatly organizing them by type, making it easier to locate and select the desired attachment. Furthermore, users can effortlessly create tasks, notes, or calendar events directly from relevant email messages, leveraging contextual information and pertinent details. Additionally, Zoho Mail offers two mobile applications: the first being Zoho Mail, encompassing mail, calendar, and contacts, while the second, Inbox Insight, serves as an intelligent search app dedicated to efficiently exploring your email content.

2015. Inbox Insight - new search engine for Zoho Mail

Zoho has introduced Inbox Insight, an iOS and Android app designed to prevent important emails from getting buried and ensure essential tasks are not overlooked. Rather than replacing the traditional Zoho Mail mobile app, Inbox Insight works in conjunction with it, serving as an intelligent search tool integrated with your email. For instance, you can utilize it to locate a message from approximately three months ago by searching for emails "From Charles" within the timeframe of January 1st to April 1st. Additionally, any search performed can be saved, enabling you to receive notifications whenever new emails matching that search are received. This feature effectively filters out unnecessary noise, allowing you to focus solely on the emails that are relevant to you.

2014. Zoho Mail is available for iOS and Android phones

Zoho has finally launched the highly anticipated native mobile application for Zoho Mail on both iPhone and Android platforms. This app not only offers a sleek, user-friendly, and seamless interface for accessing emails on the go but also introduces exclusive Calendar, Contacts, and Files modules, creating a comprehensive suite of email applications. As a result, users are empowered to enhance their productivity while they are mobile. The app comes equipped with various features, including customizable push notifications, convenient swipe actions, email reminders for deferred messages, robust search capabilities, and the ability to work with attachments.
