2021. Field-service platform ServiceTitan raises $500M



ServiceTitan, a startup founded just eight years ago, is worth now, thanks to some massive tailwinds around homebuilding and energy efficiency that are serving to boost the company’s bottom line and netting it an unprecedented valuation ($8.3 billion) for a vertical SaaS company. ServiceTitan now boasts more than 7,500 customers that employ more than 100,000 technicians and conduct nearly $20 billion worth of transactions providing services ranging from plumbing, air conditioning, electrical work, chimney, pest services and lawn care.


2021. Jobber raises $60M for its platform for home service professionals



Jobber, which has built a platform doing just that for a particular segment of the market — home services professionals, has picked up $60 million in funding. Jobber’s platform is focused around management software to help sole-traders and small home services businesses make appointments and organize their schedules, set up billing and manage their accounts, and market their services online. The funding round comes at a time when Jobber already has some 100,000 customers across 47 countries and 50 service segments, including cleaning, electrical repairs, landscaping, plumbing and more.


2015. Mobile workforce service Jobber secured $8M



Field service management software Jobber has secured a $8 million. Professional home and mobile service businesses have often relied on the desktop and even pen and paper, but it’s massively inefficient. Jobber provides mobile apps, scheduling tools, online invoicing, and simple customer management tools for these companies. Since it started in 2011, over three and a half million customers have have used it. The company claims it’s process over over $1 billion in invoices. In Jobber’s segment, the biggest competition is probably pen and paper. Other players include mHelpDesk, HouseCall Pro, Breezeworks and vWorkApp. In the enterprise segment there are larger, established players like ServiceMax and Bella Solutions.
