Insightly
Insightly is a great tool to help small businesses deal with the vital task of managing your contacts, organizations, partners, vendors and suppliers. Using CRM best practices, you can see everything about a contact - from background, email history and important dates, to any projects or opportunities in which they have participated

WORKetc
With integrated CRM, projects, billing, help desk, reporting and collaboration, WORK[etc] is the single cloud computing platform. This means just one software solution for your entire business. One place for your team to collaborate. One place to sell, deliver and support customers. And with WORK[etc]'s cloud based web and mobile apps, you can manage your business at work, at home or on the road.
Insightly and WORKetc are both business management platforms with CRM capabilities, but they have distinct features and target different audiences.

Insightly is primarily a CRM software designed for small to mid-sized businesses. It focuses on sales and customer relationship management, offering features like contact management, lead tracking, pipeline management, and email integration. Insightly provides tools for managing customer interactions and streamlining sales processes, making it a suitable choice for businesses looking for a dedicated CRM solution.

WORKetc, on the other hand, is an all-in-one business management platform that combines CRM, project management, billing, and help desk functionalities. It offers a broader range of features beyond CRM, including project tracking, time tracking, invoicing, customer support ticketing, and collaboration tools. WORKetc is ideal for small to mid-sized businesses that need a comprehensive platform to manage multiple aspects of their business operations.

2008. WORKetc Offers an End to Single Purpose Web Apps

Depending on your business, you may rely on multiple web services for various functions such as invoicing, project management, time tracking, contacts, and support. Managing information across multiple apps can be challenging even with some level of integration. In response to this, WORKetc has upgraded its Veetro service and boldly claims that "Single Purpose Web Apps Are Dead!" While I don't completely agree with that statement, there are compelling reasons to consolidate everything into one place, including a consistent user experience, reduced training time, and cost consolidation. The upgraded WORKetc integrates various features like time sheets, project management, billing, help desk, task management, and CRM into a single application. The new interface is significantly improved with enhanced navigation and user-friendly AJAX functionality. Despite concerns about the integrated apps lacking compared to standalone counterparts, WORKetc proves to be feature-rich in each aspect. Consolidation brings advantages, such as automatic time and task tracking for billing purposes, seamless linking between activities, clear screens, and abundant reporting options. However, a limitation is that clients cannot access the project management module, which might be a deal-breaker for some. The online help is satisfactory but could be more comprehensive, and support requests are promptly answered. WORKetc has made significant usability improvements with Version 2.0, and its extensive functionality makes it an impressive option for small businesses. While it could benefit from some refinements and a client-facing project management module, it has the potential to replace standalone apps. Monthly subscriptions start at $29.95 for one employee, $44.95 for two employees, and an additional $10 for each additional employee. Although there is no free trial, they offer a 14-day guarantee if the product doesn't meet your needs. For more information, visit their sign-up page.
