2019. Graphic Design Software Canva launched enterprise product

Canva, the Australian-based design tool maker, announced that it has raised an additional $10 million to bring its valuation to $3.2 billion. Besides, the company is launching Canva for Enterprise. Thus far, Canva has offered users a lightweight tool set for creating marketing and sales decks, social media materials, and other design products mostly unrelated to product design. The idea here is that, outside of product designers, the rest of the organization is often left behind with regards to keeping brand parity in the materials they use. 2015. Online design platform Canva launched business version

Online graphic design platform Canva has launched Canva for Work, that allows organizations of any size to use Canva’s core feature set along with special features aimed at businesses, such as the ability to save and share a brand kit with the company’s logo and color palette. While the platform itself had simplified graphic design for the mainstream, business users still faced a number of pain points in their organizations. For starters, their in-house graphic designers were often over-stretched, having to make minor text edits for marketing teams, executives, social media teams and others. With Canva for Work, however, designers can instead now set up a variety of pre-made templates across varying file formats – presentations, posters, ads, letterheads, social media posts, and more. Then, others in the organization can customize these items with their own text and graphics. These materials can also be shared in a folder on Canva for easy access.

2011. Prezi+iPad - ideal presentations at conferences

We continue to find new interesting ways of how iPad (and other tablets) can be used in the Enterprise. We have already mentioned that for executives and sales persons who often go to business meetings iPad can serve as a cool accessory to impress the client. But frankly speaking, nobody will demonstrate presentations on the iPad at these business meetings. Projector or laptop with bigger screen are much more appropriate for this case. But at different exhibitions and conferences, where you can meet many partners and customers, iPad - is an ideal solution to show presentation on the go. Besides, now the spectacular presentation tool has appeared - Prezi for iPad. We have already reviewed Prezi - it's one of the most original and exciting services for online presentations. And on the iPad it looks impressive. It's interesting that presentations are not saved on the tablet, but broadcasted from the Internet. Besides this first version doesn't support video, animation and PDF files. It also doesn't allow to edit presentations - only to demonstrate.

2009. Prezi - fresh look at the Web presentations

When it comes to presentations, the minimalist style, that is usually more appropriate to business applications - not works so fine. Because you want your audience (potential customers) to say "WOW!". That's why besides the classic presentation apps, such as PowerPoint or Google Presentations, there is number of quite succesful alternative presentation tools such as SlideRocket with its incredible flash effects or Second Life with its virtual 3D auditories. The Hungarian start-up Prezi also belongs to this group. It has already gathered a lot of excited reviews, awards and investments. It's coolest feature is that the entire presentation is placed on one large virtual board, and its demonstration - is navigation on this board with dynamic scaling.
