Slack’s Enterprise version added security enhancements
Slack has unveiled some new security and compliance features aimed at boosting the appeal of its Enterprise Grid product among IT leaders and admins. The Enterprise Grid was launched a year ago and offers centralized management of the team chat application on a company-wide basis and supports up to 500,000 users. Among the new features is the addition of a new Apps page to the Slack Admin Dashboard. This improves oversight of how apps are used and managed across every workspace in an organization, providing insight into who installed an app, for example, or what channels they are used in.
