Jacques van den Broek, CEO of Randstad, expressed that Monster serves as a natural complement to Randstad. The transaction aligns with the goal of bridging the gap between labor supply and demand, facilitating improved connections between individuals and suitable job opportunities.


2015. Job site Glassdoor raises $70 million from Google and others



Glassdoor, the renowned US job site renowned for its anonymous employee reviews, has secured $70 million in funding to further enhance its job search and recruitment tools for both employees and employers. The latest funding round was led by Tiger Global and Google Capital, the growth fund of Google. Established in 2007, Glassdoor gained prominence through its extensive collection of anonymous (and seemingly candid) employee reviews and company ratings. 2014. Monster acquires recruiting software TalentBin



Monster has completed the acquisition of TalentBin, a startup that provides recruiting tools for social networks. TalentBin is known as a "talent search engine" that consolidates information on potential job candidates from platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Quora, and other sources. Additionally, it offers recruiters tools to connect with these candidates. Originally known as Honestly, a platform where professionals could review their peers anonymously, TalentBin has evolved over time. In total, the company raised $3.2 million in funding across its different iterations.
