Clara
Clara is your partner in doing great work — a virtual employee that schedules your meetings.

X.ai
x.ai is an artificial intelligence driven personal assistant who schedules meetings for you. You interact with it as you would to any other person – and it will do all the
tedious email ping pong that comes along with scheduling a meeting.
Clara and x.ai are both AI-powered virtual assistants designed to help with scheduling and managing appointments, but they have some key differences in their capabilities and approach. Clara, developed by Clara Labs, focuses on providing a highly personalized scheduling experience. It offers features like email integration, natural language processing, and a dedicated human assistant to handle complex scheduling tasks. Clara aims to provide a seamless and human-like scheduling experience through its combination of AI and human assistance. On the other hand, x.ai, developed by x.ai Inc., is centered around an AI scheduling assistant named "Amy" or "Andrew." It primarily relies on AI algorithms and natural language processing to handle scheduling tasks autonomously. X.ai offers integrations with various calendar platforms and email clients to facilitate scheduling interactions.

2016. Personal assistant X.ai raised $23m

Startup X.ai, the creator of Amy, the bot designed to assist with scheduling meetings, has secured a funding of $23 million. The raised capital will facilitate the transition of X.ai from a closed and free beta version to a fully commercial product, and the company also intends to expand its team by hiring additional data scientists and engineers. X.ai was developed with the concept that it should seamlessly integrate with the prevailing platform widely used for arranging both in-person and virtual meetings, which is email. When you need to plan a conversation or a meeting with someone, you include Amy in the email thread. For in-person meetings, Amy will propose suitable locations and available times. Over time, Amy learns your preferences, such as whether you prefer meeting at Starbucks or Blue Bottle, or if you enjoy meeting contacts at local pubs. Once a meeting is scheduled, it automatically syncs with your preferred calendar application.
